-Woodhouse- Leicestershire, Stone Arches

Carvero designed and fixed various stone features for this beautiful barn conversion carved from rustic French limestone. These included items such as Tudor arch doorways, traditional fireplaces and reclaimed stone steps, all carefully chosen to perpetuate the existing aesthetics of the house.

During the project it was proposed to the client that frameless glass should be inserted directly into the stone arches running the length of the kitchen wall. This allowed even freer flow of light from the garden into the open plan kitchen space. The house was put on the market and sold within a week; these windows were among its most attractive selling points, they are clean cut while preserving the pleasant ancient feel of bare stone.
